Welcome to my Home Page!
I have been working with computers since I was 13, and have always been amazed and interested in 3D computer graphics and Games. I have tried several times to make 3D pictures but the software and hardware were just too confusing and or too time consuming. Then many years ago I discovered Poser 5 and worked with this for awhile even upgraded to Poser 6, I lost interest for awhile (several years) , cause I still could not get the level of realism or detail that I was striving for. Then one day I was browsing through some of my old links and came across DAZ and discovered the New Victoria4.I downloaded DAZ Studio again and really liked the improvements they had made. I have been buying more stuff then I have time to use but I'm enjoying it a lot.I like working in DS because I have an easier time finding things in the content browser and I find it easier to move and manipulate figures in DAZ. and you get a better idea of what the final scene will look like (WYSIWYG)the lighting is a lot easier to manipulate and tweaking poses is quite a bit easier!I just recently started posting but I'm very pleased about all the great feedback I'm getting and have met several nice people on this site. The picture above is the very first render I ever made!n Thanks for your interest and May your Renders be fast and flawless! Thank you for visiting my gallery and feel free to comment good or bad on any pictures you see posted!
Note::::If by chance something offends you please due me the courtesy of notifying me before going and listing a complaint with Admin. I am Human and do make mistakes in setting up the warnings from time to time! I will then rectify the problem ASAP thank you!

Digital art is coming into it's own these days. It's being accepted more and more and I think that's valid. Truly good digital stuff isn't all that easy to create aw we all know. I know that many here have spent hours and hours, and days and weeks developing one piece of work, so it's not just something that is slapped together in minutes. Creativity and artistry shows, no matter if it's done with pencil, paints, or digitally. This is a very cool work, and could happily live in a museum or gallery anywhere.

Very interesting work Chris ! And I totally agree in one of your previous post where you state that the best art comes from experiments. I have done that myself with 2D art and usually I turn out liking my experiment much more...:) As for the question you mentoend here about: Is art only art when it done by someone who has studied art and produces in the traditional way of painting or drawing or even digitally? Or is something still of arititic value even though it is produced digitally by a layman with no formal art training? Of course( at least in my opinion) 'art is art' no matter if it comes from someone who studied art or not it definitely has an artistic value. The problem is as you stated. it is much more noticed by those artist who are well known. Even if they scribble on a piece of paper, just beacause they are known those scribbles will be considered art of great value. Unfortunately that is just the way it is.... Hugs Diana
