Description

Bryce7Pro/Photoshop This one's for DrO,Vorban and Geirla who requested a close-up of the ship in my last post.I had originally designed it to be viewed from a distance in the scene,so I re-worked it with new textures and additional details.The ship textures combine photos from CGTextures with Bryce procedurals...various metals and a tile texture for the hull and engine,and a metal tile texture combined with a bryce glass for the cockpit.The engine flare is a sphere rendered in a volumetric atmospheric.The reeds are one of the grasses from Daz's Bryce Instance Grass set,the tree is from their Trees For The Forest set,bird is my alien bird created from lattices.Water is the preset Swamp Water set to object space.Sky,light and atmo are all custom.Postwork involved a slight levels and saturation boost,signature and resizing.Thanks for stopping to view,and any comments you wish to leave!

Ah! Thank you so much, I really like this ship! It's got some really fascinating aspects that are so cool, I like how elements remind me of the old ironclads from the Civil War era (1860's for those not in the US) and a nice amount of alien-feel to make it even more interesting. Great job on the textures, too, they really punch the design up into something quite spectacular.
