My first love of fractals came with Ultra Fractal, but I have also learned my way around APO, but have to admit in the past few months since discovering MB3D i have seldom used the other 2 platforms. MB3D has so much to offer and explore it is amazing.  i work in the healthcare field in northern Manitoba so there is not that many distractions to keep me from exploring a newly found creative streak.Â

Certainly an odd spot for a lock. Great capture on this one. Very nice dedication for Andrea,Jim. Great job!! Love and Hugs..

Being the logical soul that I am, I'm surmising it was actually something else chained to the post, like a bicycle, and the chain just got left behind.... But it does make for an intersting image, and could pique the imagination as to what else could have been held prisoner by that lamp. : )

Excellent composition and capture! :) I would have to agree with LovelyPoetess on it's possible reason for being there.

Extraordinary!! There doesn't seem to be enough slack for anything large to be fastened to it. Thankyou for thinking of me, Jim!

I think a cycle could have been chained there, I think the chain would pull up to a narrower part of the post :o)

Odd place, yes, but we humans often do odd things. Great shot! Love rusty colors.
