Who knows what is best
Many reasons for
Really no answers looking
Just purpose of what is
In life
As in general
The meaning while
Suppose to learn worth
Or whatever so choose
As eyes tend to watch
Nothing but open spaces
To vision the much
Of what slips away
Rolling down hills
Winds blowing towards
The shadowed faces taught
And while on
The mist of what transpires
Between the light and the dark
And after awhile
Fades the dust

You really know how to make one long for each of your next creations...Though I try my best each time to decipher from what you right I'm never really knowing what your meaning is at any one time..I've seen poetry like this throughout my life but never understood it...though I wouldn't mind learning it to be able to understand it better in the future simply because I find it fascinating!...(smiles)...

I told you some time ago that you can make my brain hurt. Sometimes your images and words are simple and straight forward. Other times are more complex with layer upon layer. It is then that one must put out extra effort to see and to understand. Kind of like life I guess. In the end, all we are is dust in the wind.

I love the layers, the pale colors, the composition ... beautiful image! Your poem makes me think of the past few days out here in the desert. I'm sure your mental picture is different from mine, but watching the dusty landscape roll by, hills mountains plains desert hills again, open spaces, dust rolling down, blowing and blowing wind ... I understand your poem in a way that's personal and immediate and quite probably not what you had in mind. I loved every word!
