Description

Deep in the hinterlands of Fractalia, there lies a passage through the mountains,a wild area fraught with many dangers. It is said there are bands of Orcs living in these mountains. It's the only known passage between two kingdoms. Each kingdom sends regular patrols through to ensure the safety of travelers. Truth be told, not many have the courage to make the journey. Mb3D for the fractal. Neoexcello sent me her parameters, which she derived from pixelcomposer's at DA. I didn't make any changes to Danise's parameters, just wandered around and found this mysterious mountain area! The knights are from a newsletter I get from Dover clip art. Many thanks to all of you who still keep visiting me, despite my not finding my way to your galleries lately. I think I have spring fever or something, LOL. Spring?? We've been having snow!! Where did Spring disappear to?? You'd think we were up in the North Pole or something! So from the Frozen Corners of Western New York, many thanks for the wonderful comments and the faves on the previous post.

We just had snow here, and we STILL have snow leftover from winter. I don't know about this spring thing people keep talking about. (I think this is just a prelude to next winter)

This is a gorgeous dark land. Ever since seeing Avatar, I've had fantasies of fractal landscapes that come alive at night, glowing like this one does. It's magic....keep going down the valley and show us the castle from whence the knights come! I bet you could work these mb3d's into photos from the Hollow! Love the palette you've got going in this one. p.s. Those are params from pixelcomposer at DA.

This is so wild, so alive... the different colors working with each other - BEAUTIFUL.... I see to knights on horses... at first, just saw the lower left one..... first impression? it felt like a tidal wave was about to crash down on the knight - imagine all that armour on for protection and that's what ends up killing you cause ya can't swim - lol - I bet you didn't see that coming, niether did he = lol

Wow, I love this wonderful fractal you have found with its soaring cliffs and deep canyons, it is a real beauty and your addition of the little knights just gives it a different feel. Fabulous work and I love how your signature is swinging from the rail.

We actually didn't get any snow this year on top of this desert mountain. But the winds haven't stopped for weeks. Blowing sand is every where. Dusted in every corner of my house & my lungs. Hang the laundry outside & you have to rewash it. If you can find it. I call them 'trade winds'. When they settle down a bit all the neighbors, all 3 of them, get together & trade their stuff back. Lmao! Fabulous job, here. I love the textures n' mood. ")
