Description

The beautiful maiden raises her arms in praise of Springtime...and in praise of all of you, my friends! Please ZOOM for more beautiful detail! Work and other matters have kept me from the galleries lately and deprived me not only of seeing your wonderful works, but also kept me from rendering any of my own. In spite of that, I took the time to render his image dedicated to you, all my friends in the Rendo community, to thank you for your support which means so much to me! You are the greatest! Luckily, I will be going on a much needed 10 day vacation soon, but, alas, I will have limited internet access and so will be absent yet longer from the galleries. I wish you all a happy Spring (for those in northern climes....happy Fall to the rest!) and promise to return and render once again! Wonderful composition and light. I love the lit patch in the background which not only shows the beautiful maiden off well, but also brings the life giving properties of light into the picture and the connection of it with the growing plants all around. I like the rich colors of the flowers in the foreground, and the profusion of the ivy and the way it is climbing the column. Lovely light on the maiden's hair, skin and outfit. Beautiful image!
