Description

This statue is located a couple hours south of us. I should have had Glenda stand beside it so you could get the idea of how huge it is. If Glenda was standing beside this the "A" in Onanole is at the same height as the top of her head. There are lots of elk around here, but they dont really grow as big as this statue (thank goodness) :)

Wow that would be one huge statue. Thanks for giving us an ideal of how big it actually is. I went to North Carolina last fall with my son to see elk I had never seen them before and it was quite amazing, in fact I would have never thought them to be a danger, I would have walked right out into field but we stood and listened to a park ranger and he told us he has more of a fear of elk then bears. I will never forget that day with my son, he had as much fun as I did.

Elk and Moose are Big Beasties IRL too, that's why it's so dangerous to hit one while driving, catch them below the knees and ya got a ton of Meat heading right for your Windshield. Peace

Yes Thank God it's a statue and not actual size because if it was the last place I'd want to be caught standing is at the rear.....(smiles)..

An amazing statue and you have captured it beautifully. It must be huge and really worth seeing. I love how they have the snow on it too.
