funny how we come across glass items we no longer have but it has that memory of another time and you want it. I came across a salt and pepper shaker and told my Mom at my Nephew's wedding I liked them because they were like the ones we had when I was a kid... she told me to take them and I said, I can't do that... she said the wedding is paid for and these salt shakers could only be a couple dollars... I was still no... she put them in her purse - lol... the only thing I've seen my Mother take... I have it in my cabinet net and use it regularly, and now, I wouldn't hesitate to take them, because the rental of a room is so high they expect things to get damaged, misplace or TAKEN - LOL

What lovely crystal. Jim and I are not much for antiques, however some little pieces really attract my attention,as is Jim's posting today. Funny how you both dedided to post golden oldies!!! ( and I don't mean that your husband or myself will be on the next list). He He We do have a couple of glass pieces and a cup and saucer of Queen Elizabeth's inauguration. Oh what we have also is a few old A&W, mugs you know when the car hop didn't count too well, way back then.. Not going to get rich from these things ,thats for sure.... Happy Easter to you and your family Cheryl..

Makes me think of my childhood. Fruit-syrup on the lawn summertime, and no sorrows in the moment. Great play and presentation.
