When I was still in jr. high school and high school we bought a fantastic Spanish style house. It had a big bricked up and gated courtyard and the stove was built into a faux brick oven. To the right at the bottom was the wood pit for storing wood to cook with and it had a brick arch built over the top of the cooking space. My mother and I bought, strung and dried lush strings of various peppers and hung them behind the stove. This reminds me so much of that. Even now, I will buy peppers and string them. And I even use them. :-)

Nice work, and just so you know you have site mail. I didn't notice it at first when I joined up and I've noticed the two I've sent you have gone unread. Look to the top right side of your page under where it says members link. Next to site mail if you have any it will say new in white letters. Have a great night.

Wonderful start to your gallery. This makes me think of Fiesta. When you posted this, our Fiesta in San Antonio had just finished. Bright flowers, spicy food (admittedly I'm a bit of a wimp in that department), music, and good times. Beautiful image! Excellent color, detail, and light!

I just found your name on eekdog's post. Steve/eekdog and I have known each other 5 years and have never met face to face.... we only live 1.5 hours from each there, but we juat haven't made the time. it's funny Steve mentioned you were from Colorado cause not even an hour ago I was telling my Wife that there are 6 artists from Colorado on renderosity that I know of - you make it number 7.... I glanced through your photography, great shots of home.... my Gallery is anything you can imagine, I have something in there for everyone - lol.
