Description

(Please Zoom For Full Effect!) This was another one of those happy accidents while playing. I could finally afford the V4 Elite Lana texture on sale over at Daz. I also wanted to play with PhilW's fantastic Skye Carrara hair again and also to try out a new lighting idea I've been kicking around. I did a quick test render and didn't like the way the eyes turned out. So I zoomed in, tweaked the eyes, hair and lights a bit, another test render while zoomed and - wow! I liked the result so much I decided to post it, so here it is. Most "production" renders take me about 30-40 minutes - this one took a little over two hours! These are my own facial morphs, and I did a little bit of postwork on the hair, eyebrows, and to fix the infamous "V4 shoulders" only. For the Carrara-heads out there: I used a background "moonlight" HDRI as a general fill light for the entire scene, and one medium bright spotlight with soft shadows to light the character. These were the only two lights in the scene. Hope you like it!

HAPPY ACCIDENT - I like that... most kids that are accidents are when something happy is going down - lol... I'd change your title to this - seriously, it fits.
