Description

While on our cruise, on Valentine’s Day, one of the chefs, on the Carnival Miracle, brought a gigantic block of ice, up to the pool deck. With only a long handle chisel (no hammer), he carved a heart on the bottom half and two lovebirds on the top half. He had bet the crowd that he would be done in less than 20 minutes. Sixteen minutes later, he stood up and walked away, to a loud round of applause. While all the photographers moved it to take our shots, a jerk walked up and pushed the sculpture right into the hot tub. My shot was taken from a distance and I have blown it up a bit, so zooming may not give you any more detail. Thanks for stopping by my gallery, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Zooming in does help. PS: The chef had used the area arounf the hot tub to create this ice sculpture because it was an elevated area and more people could get a better look. Dana

Not too bad a shot considering the circumstances, Dana. The chef is most talented to have chiseled it out in such a short time. And the creep who knocked it into the hot tub should be hung by the toes.

How wonderful to have the talent to make this so quickly, I'm so glad you got this capture before it disappeared. What a creep to destroy it, I hope he was booo.d off the deck.
