we have been away for the week, up in North Wales. had lovely weather. So this pic is one i took a while ago on Dartmoor, it is the Stone Circle on Hound Tor,Devon,uk,

Well the stones were built to last, but it looks like the drainage wasn't :-) Awsome cloudscape, and another very interesting subject.... You picked a good week for North Wales, hope you had a good time.....We're going back June 11th, I've booked sunshine but we'll see...

fascinating. I had to Google this and read all I could about the circles and the surrounding area. The history is really intriguing. I can only compare it on a slight scale to our Mound Builders who did burials in a certain place and continued to cover the remains with dirt until after many generations the burial mounds grew very large with bones, ashes and trinkets for the dead to take with them to their new "life." Sadly, most of these mounds have eroded to almost nothing over the years. Fabulous shot that really got my attention.
