Description

Greetings friends, I hope you have all had a festive (or at least relaxing) Easter weekend. Today’s posting reflects a new ‘Box coloring algorithm I am developing. It is meant to address the diminution in coloration that occurs in ‘Boxes under substantial zoom (which this is). It is time for me to head off on sabbatical again so I shall be absent for two (at the outside, three) weeks. I am receiving increasingly strident demands to present a new video and I must confess I am long overdue. I shall be flitting by Renderosity from time to time to answer mail and to assure myself that no one has yet discovered the answer to life, the universe, and everything; but for the most part, I will be temporarily scarce. Toodle pip, Stan

The thumbnail suggested ancient Egyptian structures or wall paintings, and on closer examination did not disappoint. I see the essence of that genre, and really like this as a stand alone piece in a gallery. Really quite interesting!!

I am impressed that you develop your own algorithms directly. Maybe that is the secret for the wonderful effects that you achieve, as is the case with this "boxing" one. It does make one think of the inside of a temple, as others have said. I am starting to prepare a video of your work too. Let's see who finishes first! I think I will include this image on it... We shall see. Monica
