Description

Bryce7Pro/Photoshop Professor Bufflebottom's inaugural flight of his ungainly, and many had said un-flyable,craft took place, appropriately enough,in the Spring...at a time when the first blooms sprang forth from the newly thawed soil, and equally thawed honeybees began to soar and land amongst them.If only his craft had been as graceful as they, but alas it belched clouds of black smoke and hisses of steam as it bobbed...up,up...and then down again,in a never-ending rollercoaster motion as it winged out over the green hills. Not a pretty flight,to be sure, but a flight nonetheless, and when firmly settled on the grounds of the University two hours later, the Professor was inundated with eager students anxious to take a spin in it with him. Craft is my Bryce7Pro model from previous posts, textured in photo-textures from CGTextures. The hillside terrain is textured in a grass material from Daz's Seriously Real Materials set, with displacement added. The flowers are from Daz's Instance Daisies set,and were placed using the Instancing Lab in 7Pro(with some crashes and subsequent cursing). The bushes are Bryce preset foliage, the tree is from Daz's Trees For The Forest set.Sky,light and atmo are all custom.Rendered in Premium with soft shadows selected(terrain anti-aliasing turned off).Postwork included a sight levels boost, smoke and steam, bird brushes(freebees from Obsidian Dawn at QBrushes.com),signature and re-sizing.Thanks for taking the time to view and comment!

Nice terrain and vegetation! Ah yes, cursings. I've had those with displacement as well as the instancing lab.

Nice scene here, even if it did cause some cursings (I've been there too many time, but I suspect we've all experienced that one) and such. I like the terrain and now those textures look, and of course I love that wonderful model of yours. Very cool.

Yes, I know about the cursing side of rendering, too. Heh! Nice finish, though. As for the professor, tell him to BEE careful whenever he flies that thing. (Sorry. Couldn't resist.) Sorry to be a late in making comments, too. The healing goes on faster than expected but longer than wished for.

Great scene! Funny how all identify with the cursing. That is why I have so many unrealized images.
