Description

I try not to redo my older pieces very often but I just really wanted to rework this one between now having the Mil Horse texmap I really wanted - this uses my Pro Pack Silver Grey -(the original used Moonrose's Equine Textures as a base); four more years of practicing/developing new drawing & painting techniques with my Intuos tablet; and the use of IBL & HDRI lighting techniques not really available back in O7 when I did the original. More previewing of MNT 3 here... am a little behind on the release now thanks to the design studio getting swamped again, and taxes, oh joy... The background was painted using Ron Deviney's wonderful "Steam & Smoke" PS brushes at Daz and was done in Poser 7 this time instead of Bryce 5. Mane etc painted in PS CS3 using my MNT 3. Absolutely magnificent. Your beautiful works and texture packs have inspired me to include horses in my imagery. This image is truely gripping in its intensity. Love the sense of power from both the painted storm and the stallion.
