Description
This is an almost done (i can't be bothered to do any more work on this image) scene that i tried doing many moons ago on 3d canvas. It has changed considerably before the first attempts, you could almost say the pawn has moved one square forward... It is my second attempt at lightwave... so i desperately need any comments, and could someone tell me how to make the pawns 'heads' less polygonal?

Great work man ;-) About your question, if you used Lathe to make the pawns, try to add more points into the "head" Whatever, it looks cool to me ;-)

Ein herrliches Zimmer! Maybe you could use the skills you have learned in this (or these...) scenes to model a house or city like Im always trying ;-) The room is very good, some textures could be improved, but maybe you can play with them on your next scene. Dont know much about lightwave, cant you make the head of a sphere and group it to the rest??? Anyhow: Good work and I imagine thats hard in lightwave (have seen screenshots of the interface - looks complicated to me...). Anyhow, Im sure your lightwave talents will improve on every scene you do... Good work! Stefan

Try using "smoothing", you should find it somewhere where you pick colours for the surfaces. Keep working.
