Thought I would drop in and say hi...lol..
I imagine that after so long no one expected to see me around here again...:)
I was browsing the Market Place today in search of some good preset lights for Daz but never found any and decided to browse the galleries to see what you all have been up to...
I was amazed by all the awesome work I have seen.
It has actually been a long time since I created any images as I dedicate most of my time to my current job and creating scapbooking elements and kits.
I decided to open up Daz Studio the other day and also went and purcahsed a ton of new content to see what I could come up with. I have used Daz before but actually never really used it seriously so you can say I am just a beginner.
I find that adding clothing, posing etc is a piece of cake. What I am having issues with is the lighting. Not easy at all to achieve the exact lighting you are looking for and even less for a specific mood. Creating 2D images was much easier as I would just apply a filter for the lighting and that was it...:)
Anyway's here is a little something I created. I used the classical V4.2 model without any makeup as I wanted and all natural look. I used the beautiful Lorely hair made by Valea which I purchased from Daz 3D and the Fairy Gown made by Lady Littlefox also purchased from Daz 3D.
I did a bit of post work also in photoshop to give it a soft look.

Wow, was suprised to see your ebot and had to have a peek right away. It has been so long. Welcome back! Nice to see such a beautiful post and know your doing well. Best set of light I ever bought was Vexlights by Vex. Great lighting each time.Easy to make adjustments. Other great light sets are those that come with DM products. There are many more here at Rendo and over at Daz. Light and shadows is what makes a great image. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

very nice work I use the LDP2 Light Dome Pro 2 for most of my final lighting sets but they do take some time for the higher settings but very nice 1 click presets for most scenes.
