Description
This young lady was kinda entertaining to watch..she came up the street..groovin to her music..stopped to take a long look at her reflection in a storefront window..had this thought last night..Two years ago..I considered myself a landscape photographer..That was my niche..Then I started taking pics of pets..I felt very uncomfortable taking photos of people..Next came taking shots of local bands..not a stretch, I've worked in the music business most of my life, and I know a ton of people in the local scene..My work caught the eye of a promoter..next thing I know, I'm shooting major concerts that come thru my area..I remember thinking..wow !!, I'm now shooting big time concerts.I also began doing promo shots for local bands..the xtra money is nice too!!..Now I find myself in the off season taking pics of random people..complete strangers..It just hit me..such a short time ago, I was uncomfortable taking pics of people..now..I can't stop..I learned a lesson..test your self..work outside your comfort zone..try new things..keep learning..try new styles...you never know where it might take you...
