Description
I thought I would try something new. I used Poser Pro 2010 and rendered two different images. I found the center point and moved the camera 1.25 inches to the left and rendered. Moved it back to the center point and then moved it 1.25 inches to the right and rendered. I took these two images and loaded them into right/left positions in creator 2011 and output into a 3D file.
You can see the image on any computer monitor with a pair of those silly looking anaglyph red/cyan glasses. At least I can see it on my monitor. I put it up here to see if anyone has a pair of these glasses and can tell me if they can see it too.
I put a YouTube video up here:

Thanks for your help.

One thing I will say is that without the glasses, the effect is dizzying....literally. =) I need to see if I have an old pair of those 3d glasses and see if this works, lol

Thanks everybody, I just thought I would try this out. The one thing I notice the most is how the colors wash out in 3d. I'm thinking about other 3d outputs like side-by-side, etc.

Well i like the idea but have not got the glasses but its still superb as always !!

Hello, I see the 3D effect but the ghosting is too high. Align the two images on the girl and remove part of the image no visible by the two cameras. I suggest to you to use the following free stereoscopic software. It is StereoPhoto Maker at: http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/ For the YouTube, I had some problems with the settings of the 3D format. Have to work on that. Adjustments will be facilitate and you will be able to do the side by side format.

Yeah I have to agree with Allstereo, there is quite pronounced ghosting on her left hand side, your right as you look at it. Ignoring the ghosting, its really cool! Very good effort!! The YouTube didn't really work for me very well at all. Might be the glasses but they worked for the image, so don't really know. Hope it helps a little

Thanks Allstereo and m_i_s, I thought the ghosting was too high, but I wasn't sure if it was just me. I'm going to take the two images and move them closer together in the 3D creation and try to cut the ghosting down. Then I'll repost. I'm also going to re-upload the YouTube video using YouTube's "recommended" left/right half setting for the creation.

It's not working for me, probably wrong glasses.. got them from a movie theatre

I just uploaded the new image. The ghosting should be greatly reduced now. I also uploaded the new video to YouTube in left/righ/half format: I can see it in anaglyph "red/cyan" mode. Pol, You're right. The movie glasses don't work. This is created so that it can be viewed on any computer screen (it doesn't have to be a 3D screen), but the only way to see it is with specific anaglyph glasses that have one red and one cyan eye piece.

Wonderful effect, the depth in the background is fantastic, took me forever to find the glasses :-) Love to see more images done this way.

Hi Got here late, great image. I copied it and enlarged it to 1920 by 1200. Made it my desktop so that it was full screen on my 24" monitor. The 3D effect is really great! And much sharper then other images I've seen. Nice job. I've just gotten interested in trying to do a 3D video in Poser and came across this post. Mike
