Description

Is it just me, or does anyone else find this not terribly reassuring?? I don't have any kind of degree in advertising or anything, but it seems to me that putting "Atlantis" and "Drainage" together in the same company name is just a bad idea... From the archives, again... This is rather small since it's only 640 X 480 resolution. I shot this several years ago when I took my first steps into digital photography with my first digital camera. It was manufactured by Sony, and was called the "Mavica." The 640 X 480 images were stored on a 3-1/2 inch floppy disk that you inserted into a drive integrated into the camera. You could get 15 - 20 photos on a 1.44MB disk. How far we have come..... Now I get 600 high res photos on a card the size of a postage stamp! I still have that Mavica, BTW... Just downloaded a bunch more stuff, and more to come - Busted 5 and TNA page 7 now in production and coming soon! Thanks for all your comments and support!

obviously a not too good match of names/professions - though it could be that the drainage in Atlantis was too good at that time

seems like a bad combo of advertising rod, atlantis did sink, no drainaige in the world could save it.

This ranks up there with a catering company with the unfortunate name of Coup de Gras apparently founded by someone who thought French sounded good, but didn't really have an awareness of French. As for this marvelous catch, I have to wonder what went through the mind of the person responsible for the name! Woah. Note to self: find another drainage specialist if I ever need one! This is quite a hilarious catch!

I may get into it tonight, I still have a couple hours and just about caught up on emails. curious to see what spacko looks like through your eyes... I'd be in trouble if I went there - lol try and get Rene's boobs reduced before he goes to Vegas - lol

LMAO!!! I'm with Holly! What the hell is a French drain?! Is that a drain that drains backward, LOL? That just MIGHT explain the term ATLANTIS! It drains backward so you are mostly going to be swamped and under water in no time, LOL! This is good Rod! Keep 'em coming!

French drains are no mystery to someone who lives on a hill in a rainy climate! :) Love the name! Somehow it reminds me of a friend's granddaughter, who named her son Asher because she couldn't see any way the name could be made fun of by other children. ???

That's so funny, although... If they survived the sinking of Atlantis, maybe they would be the ones to call? Huh. This is a hilarious shot, I'm glad you kept it around and shared it here. That name ranks up there with ones I've seen: "Vader and Vader Attorneys at Law," and the "Stiff Brothers Mortuary". Now what'd be a real hoot is if the guys driving the truck were wearing togas!
