Description
Finally the bees are busy in my Ribes. I took alot of shots yesterday. Some of them were quite nice, but the bees were so busy that they almost never sat on the flowers, but kept staying in the air. Really difficult to make a clear shot that way :D

Zoom is a must on this great image. One little detail: The eyes MUST be in focus, always the eyes.

I didn't even know what ribes are until coming across your gallery, and well...I have yet to find a bee that allows photography; I guess I will stick to yellowjackets, at least I can bribe them with peach flavored tea, or even beer! This is such a marvelous and intensely magical shot. I love the bee's shiny eye.
