Wonderful job of modeling this! The tex seems fine except for the back. You might have to either map each slat individually or splice together a tex map that helps simulate different grain for each slat. Having done a tiny bit of modeling (and very simple objects only) I must say I admire anyone who has the skill and patience to do this. Nice work!

Cannot advise I am afraid as regards your software, but for me I would alter the shadowing as to be more towards us as the lighting seems to be coming from the right side of the picture. The modelling looks excellent to me, really well done. hugs Jane xx
