Description

And now for something completely different.... this one is for Geo. Things have been a bit busy here, with not much time for personal work; but I did spend a few hours this morning playing with Apophysis and some nice tutorials by Claire Jones. Image was rendered 1920x720 in about two minutes and brought into Photoshop for postwork. I did some basic adjustments to make the image pop a bit better. The results were the pink/red parts of the image. I then added a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and pushed everything towards the blue. I added a mask to that and painted the pink areas back in as you can see. The whole thing took a couple of hours and for my first fractal/abstract piece; I'm reasonably satisfied with it. As always, your feedback is appreciated.

An ordinary fractal is postworked into a most excellent piece of art. If only more of the 'fractalians' would see the light! :)

There is something so addictive about using Apophysis, those gossamer tendrils of color...this is beautifully done!
