Description

Apophosis > Poser 6 > Vue 6(Esprit) > CS2 Hello everyone, Had this one ready to post for some time but got side tracked on my musical ventures for the last month :p This started out by dabbling in Apophosis (fractal generator)and creating the web that you see in the backdrop from a fractal (which is the same postwork web that is stuck to some of the figures). I thought it was a good time to use Swidhelms Barbed Horror (nice model !). This image was inspired by a D&D adventure I'd played in my early 20's....we'd traveled some weeks (in game that is) to Lolth's (the evil spider queen goddess) lair underground and confronted her and her drider minions. The game was dungeon mastered by my friend Jeff Garen and was loads of fun. This is fantastic! It really conveys just how horrifying and hopeless someone would feel who had entered the Demonweb Pits. This would make a great image for a GM's screen. Is a must see at the larger size.

WOW! VERY COOL! Being a R.A. Salvatore fan I recognized the situation here right away. Super work with the whole scene, from the fractal web to the lighting. Nice image!
