Anyone have any suggestion on how to get rid of these stinken "triangles" would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I believe it's got something to do with the way Height Ripples work. Is the terrain very jagged under the water? Try using a smaller scale setting in the ripples. And also, just a small observation, the green texture (grass) is visible under the water. If you were trying to make algae, I sugegst you use a much sparser covering and a redder tinge to it.
