Description
Experimenting with a different type of lighting system today for my 3D portrait work. Produces nice results but takes forever to render. This piece started off as a pretty female but somehow morphed into a zombie by the time I'd finished!

The sad thing is I've seen a woman like this. She'd sniffed crack cocaine for many years. It strongly constricts blood vessels, causing gradual necrosis and shrivelling of tissues. A frightening sight indeed!

I think for a zombie she is still very pretty. What Light are you using, it looks great.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! This was my first attempt at using indirect lighting. I bought the IDL Studio Bundle by Colm (over at RDNA) which is great. The Advanced IDL Studio Manager python script makes it a lot easier to use too.

Yup, that's a pretty fantastic render of one ugly female. Great work on the lighting and hair. IDL starts to get really slow when rendering transmapped hair or transparencies. Great work!
