When I walked by You caught the corner of my eye And I knew it was love You never said a word I don’t believe you even saw me But I knew it was love My heart stopped beating I couldn’t breath The only thing running through my mind Is what could I possible say The next time I walked by What I could say That would make your heart stop beating Making you stop breathing With all the charm This old vaggabondd had I uttered the words Do you have any gum Stunned by such a dumb line You said spearmint While I was on a roll I spit out the words Tomorrow have juicy fruit please And the rest As they say my lizzibell Is history Anyone who knows me knows I love women, the way they look, the way they walk, the way they smell, the way they talk, I love everything about them and I write many poems of love. Most of them for love in general but this poem is very specific. This poem is just for Lizzi. It is really how we met. We were working at the same fruit warehouse and from where I worked if I turned my head to the right I could see Lizzi from the back, ( in artist terms, what a pov lol ) well I kept trying to come up with something to say when I walked by to go to the bathroom and one day I said ok this is it. When I was walking back I saw she was chewing gum so being Mr. Cool. I ask her if she had a stick of gum, she gave me a stick of spearmint and I said thanks but tomorrow have Juicy Fruit please. This gave me an excuse to stop and talk to her the next day. Well on the next day when I stopped by she had Juicy Fruit and 27 years later the rest as they say is history. I hope everyone likes my 1,000th post Randy

Really beautiful and ur wife must be so proud of u and as far as my other poem i was going to send to u it has gotten lost so must have left it behind when i was in the hospital but wanted u to know that and those words do not come easy as u say writers block just hits me at certain times when i am down so take care my friend and have a wonderful day.
