love fresh water ... great colors and beautiful captured nature. had also a Fuji (S6500fd) before the 40D.... when there is enough light it made (like yours) great pictures. in landscape you will not see a lot of difference. when got the 40D at first I was disappointed what came out of the cam (compared to the Fuji)
