Description

Queen Victoria, in front of Bahamas Senate and Parliament House, Nassau, Bahamas. This photo was taken in January 2003 and I am using it now because last months trip to the Bahamas, this building needed to be painted. The only change in the eight years are the clock is gone and the colorful crest, behind Queen Victoria, has been moved into the space where the clock was. I did take this shot off center so the you could see the crest. I do not remember why the flags were at half mast and there were black buntings on the building. Photo scanned yesterday. Thanks for stopping by my gallery, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Fine architecture in this great shot of the stately old mansion-like Parliament House and sculpture, Dana. Certainly, the flags are not at half mast due to the long awaited discovery and killing of Osama Bin Laden.
