My name is Ursula and I live in the southeast of Bavaria (Germany) together with my husband and our little White West Highland Terrier called 'Ruebe'.Â
I am born in nineteenhundredfourtyseven. Â
Â
Reading, art, gardening, collecting stones, my house and taking photos are my passion. Certainly I have forgotten something....
Â
I love nature and above all the "invisibles" which become visible only by Macro photography. Very briefly, I am curious! And I also always like to know what I have taken a photo of.
Â
I am  very grateful to my son Adrian  (  January Gallery of the Month 2009   - Chaos 911 )      that he left me his 'old' camera. Moreover, you owe it to him that you can see here my pictures. He has encouraged to me to join RR.
Â
A lot of fun while looking at my "small world"!
Â
Â
If not differently mentions, are all photos from my garden.....

Very nice macro, my friend. I have no idea what its name is, but it is a pretty one. Warmer regards ( maybe 16C this afternoon in Glasgow ). I almost took my jacket off, but not quite, John.

A wonderful macro, Ursula. I missed your uploads for a couple of days. My suggestion is, that this is the 'Puntbijvlieg'(Dutch) in Latin: Eristalis Interruptus = Eristalis Nemorum, a female.

Nice shot!

Sucha beautiful shot indeed. I looked it up and found a picture like your fly, but no explanation to the breed.

A bautiful clear and detailed shot! With these three white stripes... could possibly be an "Adidas fly"?? ;)

Great capture; Ursula! I tried to find a "fitting" hover fly but maybe it could be a variety with more dark pattens as usual. I have put a picture link below: http://www.google.dk/search?hl=da&biw=1280&bih=762&q=Hoverfly&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi
