I recently watched, My sister's keeper with my sister, and in it, was Thomas Decker. Bald as bald can be.. he looked so heart breakingly beautiful, and vulnerable. Perhaps it's the lack of hair that gives such.. innocence? I don't know.
I watched the show, and it left me wanting, to recreate that feeling -
Then I ran across 3DTM's Akar, and he held that same.. Beauty, of something fragile, something wounded. This is my first attempt at trying to recapture that sense of it. I think the lighting is too bright for the mood.. and there needs to be more to the story, than a boy kneeling on the sand I think. But I still like it, even though it's over-simplified.

The picture is expressive. Sure, you can change the lighting to create a different mood - but is that necessary? I think it's good.
