Description

This is Carla 'B' out today, back to normal after her trip to see Mike yesterday, she is also minus the wart she had under her chin. When we got her home yesterday she was a bit sleepy, then an hour later she got up, said right were is my tea, I had cooked her some fish which she ate with relish & then that was her back to normal :o) Wish we healed like our animals do. I asked Helen, Mikes wife (also a vet) why they bounced back faster than us, she thought it was because they didn't think about pain or what has been done, unlike us who think about every ache & pain. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxxx

Great portrait of a beautiful gal. I'm very glad she is back to normal so soon. Give her an extra treat as a celbration :) but of course then Meadow and Jasmine need an extra one too or they will feel slighted. :)

Great capture good to see her up and about, I think us humans have to do so much more with our bodies (like lifting heavy things, bending, twisting etc) don't have a lot of time to lie round recovering from injuries,we're required to go to work nearly every day lol..

I am glad all went well and Carla B is home. Animals just take it as it is, if there is pain there is pain, if there is no pain there is no pain PLUS, if an Animal is injured and acts as if in pain it would be left behind so they jut get on with it.

Bright eyed and bushy tailed. She looks fantastic. I think that Helen has it correct. Woofs, wags and a big hug for Carla 'B'. :>) Dana

I think that's because they are always thinking, "What's that I'm smelling?"

She looks great! My doxie had a lumpectomy (two fatty lumps removed including stitches) and bounced back like nothing had happened. CC

Its true what Helen says, they have no idea what has happened or the why's and wherefor's of it all, or what will happened, and so forget about it. I noticed now my mother's memory has gone if she has a fall she forgets about it after a few minutes, and can have a massive bruise but forgets about it, so doesn't somehow feel the pain - I think that is one positive about her memory loss. Good to see Carla looking so happy and bright as a button too. hugs and love xxxxxxxx

It always amazes me too, how "in the moment" dogs can be. They just don't dwell on things, something happens, they live through it, and then they move on to the next thing. But they do seem to heal faster then we do. Well, I'm glad to see Carla B all bright eyed and herself again. Such a beautiful portrait of her, too!
