Description
Lincoln-Zephyr was a marquee, for the lower priced line of luxury cars in the Lincoln line 1936-40. Lincoln-Zephyr and Mercury, introduced, in 1939, a model that bridged the wide gap between Ford's V-8 De Luxe line and the exclusive Lincoln K-series cars. This served a purpose similar to Cadillac's smaller LaSalle "companion car". This car was conceived by Edsel Ford. Info from Wikipedia. This version has suicide doors. I did notice the slight blur and cleaned my lens. At that point, this car was gone.

A fascinating looking car ,a tangerine dream machine (pass me my sunglasses ) but it is definitely not for rough roads the clearance is almost non-existent, and what are suicide doors. Great shots though thanks for sharing.

That is quite a car, it's so low I don't know how it could ever be driven. Course that's not what they do with those anyway, so guess it doesn't matter!!

Suicide doors are hinged at the back while normal car doors are hinged toward the front of the car. In the top photo you can see that the car door is ajar – in the front. When the engine is running, a hydraulic system lifts the car body high enough, for full clearance, above the road. Dana
