As an additional technical note, I usually shoot with a old style push pull Nikon 35-70MM F2.8 zoom on my APS-C camera but on this day I started getting an error message with that lens so out came my 89 dollar 50mm fixed lens which produces the sharpest images I am able to take. I am not a huge gear person (except for lighting) and my most beloved and expensive lens is the Nikon 80-200 F2.8 but I must tell you that 50MM fixed F1.8 is just an incredible lens especially considering it often can be purchased for under $100.

good pose and lighting, model is fine, great scene with this couch and floor. If I may make a note: the background is somewhat distracting (too much detail), and I'm slightly under the impression that the shoes are one size large.

Wonderful and beautiful. Despite having to compress images to post here, there is indeed a lot of detail.

This is a wonderful image, and you are so right about the lens. Sometimes some of the best equipment costs the least.

Thats funny- Canon also produces a "Nifty Fifty" in that dollar range, its body is plastic, cheaply built but its friggin sharp! Just about everyone gets that lens because of the bang for the buck. Nice shot, and the sharpness is evident- cool bokeh too!
