Cause o' this I will be off and on until August when I told the hubby I will be done and officially taking a month long break.
Now, DC has this long ass form to fill out and at one point I had to categorize Spirit Gum Luv --I was at a bit of a loss. Erotica? Check--fantasy--Check--magical check--spell-casting--uh huh--a little dark-- fun but moody...So what genre does it fall in?
Hentai doesn't seem to fit entirely although they are animated and there is sex in it.
There are wizards and spells but it ain't exactly Harry Potter either.
Hubby coined the phrase "Cinematic animation"

Great depiction of Isabella, she is troubled.. It is not wise to call your films hentai,it is nothing in your stories that is not happening in mainstream contemperaryy film. "3D animations of greek mythology in modern settings". I wish you luck!

Hum, it is a dilema. I will ponder it. I agree with Ralph that you should steer clear of hentai. Your characters don't look like them. My writing teacher once told me that all stories have already been told and that we just rework them. The myths pretty much got a wrap on them and you show that in your works. I would go with something like animated neo-mythological erotica. ANME.. close to the oreintal but different. With all due respect to hubby, cinematic animation is Walt Disney, and you are not doing Disney. Good luck at the cons. But don't go into total seclusion.
