Description
This is a close up of a newly opened leaf of a Venus Flytrap, If you look closely at the left hand side you can see the trigger hairs which the fly must touch to close the leaf.

Hard to avoid those hairs...I believe they have be touch twice? before the trap springs.

Yes touched twice within about 30 seconds Its to avoid a piece of debris or rain closing the trap as they only open a limited number of times.

Super macro capture and zoom does bring in the trigger hairs. Did not know about the limited number of openings. Dana
