This is a close up of a newly opened leaf of a Venus Flytrap, If you look closely at the left hand side you can see the trigger hairs which the fly must touch to close the leaf. Zoom to get a better view.

Hard to avoid those hairs...I believe they have be touch twice? before the trap springs.

Yes touched twice within about 30 seconds Its to avoid a piece of debris or rain closing the trap as they only open a limited number of times.
