Sometimes I like to use (abuse?) Vue to do non-nature renders. For example indoor portraits. I find Vue and its lighting engine a real pleasure to work with even for these kind of applications. Here is an example. Just a very simple portrait of a new character for my fantasy style renders (Princess Alina). The character was designed, posed and clothed with a dynamic dress in DAZ Studio. Then I exported the .obj to Vue and set up all materials in Vue. The lighting is just a key light (spot) from the right, a softbox (plane) on the left and a point light as background light. Not bad for a landscape program... And that's why I love Vue! Ciao TD
