Description

Another interesting corner in downtown Graz: a cozy litte square seen from inside the shop of the Museum of Modern Art. Many Central European old buildings sport religious statues at the corner. Actually a usage much older than Christianity: a divine character protects a dangerous, because liminal, part of a building (the corner, which unites two sides) or a crossroads (where a number of roads meet).
