Description
Late, late afternoon at the Pacific.
Dunes near the north jetty of the treacherous entryway to Humboldt Bay, Eureka, California.
It was cold here today...hooded sweatshirt AND leather jacket required.

Beautiful photo, conveying a cold, windy impression. I know it very well - we have the same in San Francisco. South of the Monterey peninsula the water is warmer, and the climate, too. But, inland from San Francisco it's a hot area. However, north, into the mountainous area, it is cool even in summer. This reminds me of San Francisco and of the Monterey - Carmel area. Thanks for the memories. Keep up the good work! :-)
