what is considered weeds often have very beautiful flowers. I do not know the name for these.there are some each spring here, but usually they are very tall

Do these turn into a burdock? In the autumn and winter are there little round balls that stick to your clothes like Velcro? They certainly remind me of burdocks. The ones in Michigan were about the same color as these, but the pattern was different. None the less, like the morning glory, one persons flower is another persons weed.

This is what they are .... "Mimosa Pudica" locally known as 'makahiya' because it shows shyness or folds inward when touched or shaken. It is a creeping perennial vine with thorns on the stem.... (smiles) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimosa_pudica
