Description

Here's a new creation from one of Robbr's planets from the 3DC weekly challenge known as 'cp tweek'. I really like the waters on this planet... Can anyone tell me how to texture the wood on the pier in MW? I'd love to give it a realistic grain.

Great work Dave!.....Nice composition of models!........For the bridge you could use the material "wood" from your MJW materials....seeing the grain of the wood will depend on the scale of your bridge...so you can open the wood material editor....open up the function graph for the "Diffuse"....and experiment with the "Largest Feature" of both "Monofractals"....larger settings will give you the grainy effect....that's if color texture is what you're after....real physical texture could be done with Material Displacement.
