Thank you so much for taking the time to view my gallery. Many thanks for the comments and faves of my last pic 'Shine a Light', it is so appreciated my friends. Now I hope you like my new digital painting exercise, and I added a snippet of the story for you too. Hope you are all well, hugs Jane xx
THE STORY :
The magenta moth had made it to the top of his world, which was high up the side of the purple mountains that touched the sky. His mission was not fulfilled until he found the pink nectar flower that would only open up its petals for him. The mist grew thicker and enveloped the moon, everywhere was growing darker smothered in a thick magenta mist, and the moth could not complete his mission until he found the special flower.
Then out of the haunting mist the king of all lantern carriers arrived and lit up the most beautiful pink flower, which in turn opened its petals for the magenta moth as he landed on it's long staymen that had twisted and turned seeking out the moth.
Thanks to the most beautiful of the lantern carrier birds, the cycle had begun, and the flower released its sweet nectar and the moth drank it, more and more nectar drops escaped from their sweet prison, to cascade down the mountainside, and in turn feed that amazing and enormous natural and magnificent architecture, its occupants of creatures, natural wildlife and elfin, all of whom relied on its nectar and the nectar of its kind.
Again it was proven why it was that everyone worshipped the little lantern carriers who went quietly about their business of lighting up that most beautiful land, and indeed helped the whole cylce of life to flourish within the darkness.

Sis, all I can say is thank Heaven for you and your art. It's hard to imagine a more magical image on earth as this one is one of your best. I really do love the thoughtful story of the little lantern carriers, and just adore this colorful work of art.

Such a sweet and beautiful little story to go with this totally spectacular image! The painting is awe inspiring, so gorgeous, such stunning and detailed brush work, right down to the tiny little splash that drop of nectar makes as it hits the little rivulet of nectar already formed at the foot of the stunning flower! I see eyes there, near the splash, I'm thinking it's frog eyes/ Such a marvelously detailed work Dear Jane, with magnificent brush work!
