Other interests include gardening, listening to music (mostly Jazz, classical and blues), going to plays and reading. I enjoy traveling and spend many happy hours photographing alone or with friends.

Oh, this is marvelous! It's so rich in details and textures and I can easily lose myself in it. This is superb work and yeah, I'm glad it's not winter any more, but judging by Chicago's weather on the day I'm making this comment, it might as well be. What happened to spring? Two days ago we hit 91 degrees, Faranheight and today it's hovering in the low 40s? What gives? Anyway, enough meteorological bellyaching. This is an amazing, gorgeous shot.
