Description

Evening all :o) I have been out today with a couple of friends from the Camera Club to try and capture the decline of our seasides .This was once ,not so long ago a bustling town that now has all the seafront shops boarded up apart from a fish and chip shop and I must say it was worth the visit just for the fish and chips :o)..I have combined a textured image of a sandstone block over the top of the original to help it a long a bit . Thanks for the look and take care .Mick

The B&W makes it even more desolate looking--too many places like this everywhere!

There's a lot of that here, too. We've been driving up the coast and have seen many towns that have had better days.

Superb shot, the dark tonality of it suit the subject matter very well!

Mick, I've so missed you but I'm glad you are still "clicking away" and doing it with finesse. You did a stellar job with this - B/W and well composed for detail. How sad this seems to be happening all over the world. Old times just aren't able to make it in these days of new times...and many times, new times fade out before they can become "old times."
