A Dutch good friend introduced me to R'osity... and now, I really feel good in this community : I enjoy a lot your friendship and comments !BIOWith a few exceptions (indicated), I'm using a simple CANON Digital IXUS i... Sometimes, I do some postwork using ArcSoft PhotoStudio 5, but I just installed Adobe PhotoShop 7.0...
But now, after having seen all these beautiful shots, I just bought (Nov 2004) myself a new camera : NIKON 70 D !
I'm a chemist, leading a small R&D team in polymers (My greatest pleasure is to stimulate creativity...) I'm also studying to become a patent attorney...
I'm living in Belgium and enjoy travelling, hiking (going out every week-end is a vital must !), reading (my French preferred authors are Marc Ly, Jean-Christophe Grang Amie Nothomb,...), music (great fan of US female voices : Jennifer Warnes, Natalie Merchant, Sarah McLachlan, ...) and ... photography ! :~)
Bien cordialement aussi aux amis francophones !

According to Hisko de Vries, a German naturalist on the site observado.org, this butterfly is a Woodland Ringlet (Erebia medusa)... D’après Hisko de Vries, un naturaliste allemand sur le site observado.org, ce papillon serait un Moiré franconien ou Franconien ou Nègre à bandes fauves (Erebia medusa)… :~)

This must be one of the most beautiful looking butterflies I have seen in a long time - the pattern is just divine, like a little ballerina dress ... thoroughly fascinating - well done, BB
