Description
Came back last week from a long weekend getting acquainted with the area in Wales known as 'Waterfall Country', what a beautiful part of the world! Spent 3 days wild camping and getting to know some of the falls in the area... it was the driest April on record in the UK this year, but fortunately it absolutely pissed it down on the way over there and on the first night, so even though the falls were certainly not at their most raging, there was definitely enough of a flow to get some decent shots, with some nice lush greens to boot.
These falls captivated my attention from the moment I laid eyes on them and didn't release it for several hours! During that time I was able to find a few good compositions, and even got a sequence of fall-jumpers (all wearing wetsuits and red safety hats) taking it in turns to jump off the top of the falls into the water below while being filmed on a waterproof camera by their guide. Looked like fun!
