No Happy Fractals today, pretty bummed
My sister called me today to tell me to tell me her Husband Trav finally succumbed to Alzheimers last Wednesday. He had been getting progressively worse the last few years, this last year rapidly loosing everything. A terrible thing to see someone always so Physically active and Mentally alert as him just loose everything he was. When I was a kid he worked the Oil Fields of Texas, a Firefighter in Wichita Kansas for 27 years Retiring as a Capitan, an avid Hunter, Fisherman, Runner and Cyclist. Towards the end he couldn't remember anyone or anything, barely communicative at all, then he finally forgot how to Breathe.

Although I never knew Mr.Bryant personally, I feel a kinship with him as a Brother who now resides with the Grand Architect of the Universe." Well done, oh good and faithful servant".A very fine tribute,Len.

It's a wonderful tribute, and a fearful tale of the awful things that can happen to us.

This is such a touching memorial to your brother-in-law Len. Very well done. I work every day with people with this exact same problem. Alzhiemer's is a viscious disease. There is a point where it is much more cruel to the loved ones having to witness it than it is to the patient. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Why does this always happen to the brightest sparks ? I've known a few gun-ho types who have been smitten by some cruel twist of nature... Hang in there Bro' and remember the good times. ~Cheers~
