found an effective way to eliminate or even weaken front or rear blur in post processing - one of the sadest limitations of DOF in mandelbulber. here's the first result. have fun! taurus edit: sorry, this is so fresh - the thumbnail isn't prepared.

Excellent render, I always say I think the Render engine in Bulber is superior to MB3D, it's just slow. For very fast DualCore and QuadCore the slowness of the render engine is no problem for me and my Hyperthreader it's prohibitive. Peace
