Description

Here is a photo I took last night of Saturn. I used a point and shoot held up to the lens of my 6" orion telescope. The full moon blinded me, it was sooooo bright. Thanks for viewing!

Last night you could see the crepe ring and three of the moons thru the scope.

For a hand held point and shoot, that's pretty impressive! Kind gives me the itch to dig out my 3" refractor....IF it ever stops raining!??!

Amazing for a point-and-shoot through a telescope. The first thing I noticed were the Saturnian moons; it's amazing to actually see them and to plot their courses over a summer. I did that as a kid, back when I had a hand-me-down telescope and nothing even remotely similar to a digital camera! This brings back memories, and it's a great shot!
