Description

This Blue Heron hangs around our lake, and is pretty tame as you can get within 15 ft of him (or her). I took some close ups with the new camera. It's rough living here in Florida. :) The camera saga: I got m first DSLR camera 2 months ago (Canon Rebel kit) after a month decided I wanted better lens and upgraded to get the Canon T1i and EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (purchased separately). After more research I decided to upgrade again to the Canon EOS 60D (18 megapixel), which came with the same lens in a kit. It was the best I could afford and the best Canon Sam's Club offered. I feel it is the right choice for me! The camera is almost as heavy as my old metal film SLR, and from what I can tell the has less noise at the higher ISOs I still have lots to learn with all the choices you have on the new DSLR, but that's part of the fun. Photo at ISO 160, Aperture, 9.0 Should I mention it was a full body size shot, but I cropped it? Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. Patrish
